Tafoya Elementary School, Woodland (WJUSD) - Participated in grade-level planning. Researched and orchestrated study trip to local community college for all four sixth classes. Participated in parent conferences. Organized science labs. Assessed student skill and modified lessons to include adaptive materials for visual challenged students, ELL students, and students below benchmarks. Collaborated on expanded literacy and math units. Assisted in production of play "Mastering Math." Volunteered with intramural basketball tournament.

Waggoner Elementary School, Winters (WUSD) - Administered benchmark assessments. Led Physical Education class. Instructed reading and phonics, flexible ability grouping format. Direct instruction, whole class, in Excel and Scott Foresman text. Adapted lesson plans with scaffolded support for ELLs.
