My name is Kristen Hall. I entered this
world on June 11, 1984 in Charleston, South Carolina. On this day, I
joined my wonderful family which consists of my father, Frank, my
mother, Christina, and my two brothers, Matthew and Charles. For 14
years of my life, I resided with my family in Escondido, California.
Escondido is located a little bit north of San Diego in southern
California. While living there, I spent most of my time practicing and
competing gymnastics, surfing at local beaches, playing with my pets,
and enjoying the wonderful weather. My family provides such a strong
support system for me. My parents consistently support my decisions and
taught me to strive to reach my goals. My brothers are close friends of
mine. They provide the love and laughter that I needed to become the
person I am today.
Since I now reside 500 miles north of my family, I have started my own family in Sacramento. I am a proud owner of 2 wonderful labrador retreivers and 1 precious kitten. Shotty is my 2 and a half year old male black lab. He has a mellow personality with a bit of mischeivous in his actions. Desi is my almost 2 year old female chocolate lab who just had a litter of puppies on New Years Day 2007. She was a wonderful mother to her 4 adorable puppies. Dakota the kitty was rescued from a gas station in Sacramento when she was only 5 weeks old. She has grown into a sweet cat with an amazing personality. She is extremely friendly and needs so much of my attention. She loves to play with the dogs and attack their tails as they move. When I turned 18 years old, I left sunny San Diego and moved up north to Davis, California. While attending UC Davis for my undergraduate education, I worked as a manager at the City of Davis Gymnastics, continuing my love for gymnastics and discovering my love for children. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Managerial Economics in March 2006. After discovering the joys that children bring to this world, I decided to aspire to be an elementary school teacher. I decided to continue on to further my education. Still at UC Davis, I am part of the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential/MA program and looking for a primary teaching position in the greater Sacramento area. My resume can be seen here. |
