I am the oldest daughter of Ingrid Hamann and Bill Nazaroff.  I was born in 1984 in the city of Oakland California.  My dad was studying at Berkeley and my mom was taking classes in landscape design. 
My parents have supported me in everything that I do.  My mom helped out at my school.  My dad always helped me with my math homework.  My mom taught me how to cook and how to work in the garden.  My dad taught me how to speak in front of people and how to make informed decisions. 
To me, being a daughter means being proud of my parents and always doing my best to make them proud of me.

 Yo soy la hija mayor de Ingrid Hamann y Bill Nazaroff.  Nací en 1984 en la ciudad de Oakland, California.  Mi papá era estudiante en la universidad de Berkeley y mi mamá estaba tomando cursos de diseño de paisajismo. 
Mis padres siempre me han apoyado en todo lo que hago.  Mi mamá me ayudó en la escuela.  Mi papá siempre me ayudó con la tarea de matemáticas.  Mi mamá me enseñó a cocinar y a trabajar en el jardín.  Mi papá me enseñó a hacer presentaciones en público y a tomar deciciones informadas.
Para mí, ser una hija significa estar orgullosa de mis padres y que siempre hago mi mejor para que ellos estén orgullosos de mí. 


One of my favorite things to do is to travel.  I visited my great-grandmother in Caracas, Venezuela.  I climbed through the great pyramids in Egypt.  I made new friends in Haifa, Israel.  I went white water rafting in Costa Rica.  I climbed through the ruins of Machu Picchu in Perú.  I went snorkeling in the beaches of Placencia Belize.  I climbed a volcanoe in Guatemala.  I spoke Danish to buy bread at a bakery in Denmark.  I went Salsa dancing in Puerto Rico. 
When I travel I have the opportunity to try new things, to meet new people and to visit amazing places.

 A mí me encanta viajar.  Conocí a mi bis-abuela en Caracas, Venezuela.  Trepé por las pirámides de Egipto.  Hice nuevas amigas en Haifa, Israel.  Fui en balsa en por un río torrentoso en Costa Rica.  Subí a las ruinas de Machu Picchu en Perú.  Hice esnórkel en las playas de Placencia, Belice.  Subí un volcán en Guatemala.  Hablé en danés para comprar pan en una panadería en Dinamarca.  Bailé salsa en Puerto Rico. 
Cuando viajo tengo la oportunidad de probar cosas nuevas, de conocer gente nueva y de visitar lugares increíbles.
