About Me
I grew up in a very
beautiful, but tiny town in Oregon. My family moved to Oregon when I
was five. Before this, we resided in Gig Harbor, Washington near the
birth places of my mom and dad. Due to a job opportunity, my parents
moved all five of us kids south to Oregon where they have stayed for
almost 20 years. I have three older brothers and one little sister. My
big family is very important to me and has recently started growing
with marriages and a brand new nephew born in September.
When
it was time for me to go to
college, I wasn't ready to move very far from my family so I attended
Oregon State University. This was the perfect choice for me and it
allowed me to be close enough still to drive home on the weekends. I
also was fortunate enough to have my sister as a roommate. We are best
friends so this was the perfect arrangement for us! I earned a Bachelor
of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in
Early Childhood Development and Education in June 2006. Go Beavers!
In
August of 2006, I was finally ready
for a change of pace and location. So, I moved to California and
started my Credentials/Master's Degree program here at the University
of California, Davis. It has been a great experience but I am ready to
move back to Oregon where I hope to get a teaching job for 2007. I am
eager to be close to my family and my fiance!
In
October of 2007, I am getting
married! We are traveling to Maui, Hawaii where we will have our
wedding outside with the palm trees and our families. We are so excited
and looking forward to the vacation as well!
Other
than that, I enjoy shopping, cooking, eating, teaching, and of course,
spe
nding time
with the ones I love!
