LoopAround
Games!
These are fun games for your students to play
I created two games:
1) Math Game with Multiplication and Division tasks
2) Language-Arts Game with practice in synonyms, antonyms,
homonyms, rhyming words, compound words, and contractions.
Directions:
Click on the link at the bottom of the page to get the games.
Print them out and cut them so you have all 40 cards. (Each game has 20
cards)
The top of each card has a statement beginning with "I
have____." (Depending on the type of game it will either be a number or
a word)
The bottom of each card has a task or question for other students to
figure out.
For example:
A student begins with the first card and reads: "I have the number 4.
What is this number times 2?"
Then the student who is holding the card that says "I have the number
8" will read his/her card out loud. "I have the number 8. Who has this
number divided by 4?"
Then the student who is holding the card that says, "I have the number
2" will read his/her card out loud. "I have the number 2. Who has..."
This keeps going and going, looping around the class, until the game
eventually ends back at the first student.
These games are a lot of fun, the kids love them, and they learn a lot
in the process!
