I included some lessons that I have found exciting, please feel free to adapt and use them in your own classrooms!
The first lesson plan is for grade 6. It is a wonderful supplement to the 6th grade social studies units on the Ancient Civilization of the Greeks. This lesson is primarily an art project, but it also encourages the students to remember things that they learned about the Ancient Greeks.
The second lesson plan is a science lesson appropriate for grade 3. This lesson is based on Dr. Seuss's book "Bartholomew and the Oobleck" and is an excellent way to incorporate science with a read aloud. Feel free to use the idea of Oobleck to create any number of other science lessons. Also if you do a web search for Oobleck you will get more ideas than you may know what to do with!!
