Alphabet Game Standards First Grade reading standard 1.10 Instructions This is a good game to have students play to practice their letter names and sounds. To play the game pass a card out to each student. Have the student who has the card with letter A on it begin. The student will read what's on their card, "I have letter A." They will then show the picture on their card to their classmates and say, "Who has the letter that this animal begins with?" students will check their cards to see who has the specified letter. That student will then tell the class what letter it is that they have, they will show the class the picture on their card and ask their classmates who has the letter that that picture begins with. The game will continue in this matter until somebody shows a picture of an ant and it goes back to the person who started the game. |

Grade math standard 2.0
Instructions This is a
good game to have students play to practice their addition and
subtraction facts. To play the game pass a card out to each
student.
Have the student who has the card that says I have 23 on it read the
question on their card. Have the student that has the answer to their
question read what is written on their card. Continue the game in
this manner until the loop is completed.
