Although it is designed to address second grade standards, it may be used in any elementary classroom to practice addition and subtraction facts. There are twenty cards in this deck, thus this game should involve twenty students. Instruction for use: 1. Distribute cards to students. Ideally there should be one card per students, but if there are extra cards, they must be passed out so that the game ends with the loop's completion. 2. Any card can start the game. Have the student who begins read aloud their card. 3. For each card's question, another card will have the correct answer at the top. The game will progress in a loop, there is one correct answer for each card. 4. The game ends when the student who read aloud the first question has the final answer on their card. |
