Third grade classroom, Title I School, Implemented standards-based curriculum: Houghton Mifflin Core Curriculum, provided lesson plans with consideration for ELL, addressed a variety of proficiency levels, participated in parent conferences, and supplied differentiated instruction.

 

Future student teaching placement 4/07 to 6/07, location and grade level yet to be determined.

 

Instructional Paraprofessional, Four Winds School, Butte County Office of Education, Chico, CA. 10/03-5/05. Third and second combination classroom. Assisted in planning and implementing learning experiences for students from a low S.E.S., assisted students in developing interpersonal relationships with peers and adults, and provided a safe and supported environment for all students.

 

Camp Counselor, Camp Adventure Youth Services.  Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Key West, Florida; and Vinceza, Italy. 6/04-8/05. Worked on various military bases providing a summer day camp, created positive learning experiences for children, helped develop their self-confidence and social skills, assisted in programming, and served as a role model.
