I was
born November 14 in Placerville, California. This town holds many
special memories for me. I was raised
here and my parents still live here; I met my fiance in Apple Hill,
which is located in and around Placerville.I have 5 siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I also have eight nieces and nephews. I love being an auntie and family is very important to me.

Present...
I
spend most of my time in schools for student teaching and classes at
UCD. When I have free time, I spend as much of it as possible
with my fiancé. We like to watch movies, play with our
dog, J.J.,
go wine tasting, and visit family and friends. If money and time
permit, we like to go snowboarding in Lake Tahoe. As of June 2007, I
will no longer have the name Ms. Rodgers, because I am getting married
and will be Mrs. Rikalo. My fiancé and I are getting
married at a
winery in El Dorado County, near both of our parents' homes. I look
forward to this chapter in my life. I also look forward to
starting a teaching job
in my own classroom with a group of new students with bright futures
and smiles. My future plans also include more traveling and
experiencing new cultures and countries! I have been to Western
Europe, Canada, and all over the East Coast of the United States.
I hope to visit more of Europe and the United States, South America,
Canada, and especially Australia and New Zealand!
