Loop Around Game

Math can be lots of fun - you may simply need to find a way to convince your students. The following Loop Around game is perfect for reviewing 5th grade California math standards and may be just the thing you need to jump start your students' interest in math!

Directions:

1. Print out the Loop Around cards by clicking here. Make sure to print out all 40 cards (I recommend printing them onto heavy paper for longer lasting cards).

 2. Cut out each card.

3. Hand out the cards to your students in any order. Make sure that all 40 cards are used, otherwise the game will not loop around completely.

4. Ask any student (Student 1) to begin the game by reading the question on their card. Whichever student has the card with the answer to that question needs to read out the answer (Student 2). Student 2 then poses the question printed on their own card. Again, the student with that answer printed on their card (Student 3) will read the answer out loud and then read their question.

5. This process will repeat until all 40 cards have been used and Student 1 (the student who started the game) answers the last question.
