I graduated from University California Davis with my BA and am currently in the Teacher Credential/MA
program at UC Davis. I grew up in the Long Beach area where I graduated from Lakewood High school
in 2001. The attendence at Lakewood High was a little more than four thousand students which is quite
a difference from the schools I am close to now. I moved to the Sacramento area in 2001 and was very
shocked to see how different is was from my old home town. I can actually say I will be somewhere at a
certain time, and get there early where I used to end up late due to traffic. I have a daughter named Arcana
who will be starting school very soon and she is very excited. I had a very difficult time in school when I
was younger so I look forward to supporting my daughter and my students and ensuring that they have a
better experience than I did.
