| Instructions for
Both Games: Pass out one card to each student. Call on any student to
begin. Have the student read the problem sentence printed on the card.
The problem sentence should either be a "subtraction," "addition,"
"more than" or "less than" sentence. After the student reads the
problem sentence printed on their card, all the other students should
look at the large number printed on their card. If their number matches
the solution to the problem sentence, they should call out that number,
and then read the problem sentence that is displayed on their own card.
Every card will equal a different solution. This game is linked,
meaning that every student will get a chance to answer a problem and
present a problem, and the first person to present a problem will end
up being the last person to answer a problem. The game is complete once
each student has had a turn. The most important rule of this game is to
have fun!!! |
