Game How To Use This Activity *Download and print the PDF file containing both math games. Each game is made up of 20 game cards (4 on each page). Game 1 is a review for 4th grade students meeting various 3rd grade standards. Game 2 is a challenge for 4th grade students meeting various 4th grade standards. *Cut out each individual game card. Note: if you laminate each game card they will last longer. Game Rules *Distribute one card to each student. If you have more than 20 students you can pair your students up or add more cards to the game. *To begin the game, have a student read his or her game card aloud (i.e., I have 10, who has 6x5?). The student whose card contains the answer to the problem read aloud reads his or her card aloud (i.e., I have 30, who has 3+2?). The student whose card contains the answer to the second problem read aloud reads his or her card aloud (i.e., I have 5, who has 7x8?). *The game continues until it loops back around to the student who began the game. Each card is different so every student will get a turn because each card is linked to another card with the last card linking to the first card that began the game. |
