Ms. Renee' Painter
I am the youngest of three children.
I was born in Lee's Summit, Missouri to two very loving parents.
My family moved to California when I was two years-old.
I attended two different elementary schools due to changes in my parents jobs.
I taught myself cursive by looking at the cursive alphabet strips posted around the room.
I graduated from Calaveras High School in 2002.
I attended Columbia Community College and Modesto Junior College (MJC)consecutively.
I transfered to the University of California, Davis with my Associate of Arts in 2005 from MJC.
While at UC Davis, I became a member of three organizations:
Golden Key International Honours Society
since 2006,
Phi Kappa Phi (Honors Society)
since 2007,
and
Alpha Zeta, Cal Gamma Chapter (academic fraternity
since 2007.
I graduated from UC Davis with my Bachelor of Science in Human Development.
I managed to do this with a GPA of 3.79 and recognition of high honors.
I will receive my multiple subject teaching credential from UC Davis,School of Education
in June of 2008 and my Masters in Education in 2009.
I enjoy ballroom and line dancing.
