loop-around game (pdf)
The
loop around game is designed to be played by 20 students. It consists
of 20 cards that are to be passed out. Every student receives one card.
The game starts when one student volunteers to read their card.
Students read their card as well as the question that follows. The
student who has the answer to that question then proceeds to read their
own card. The game continues until you return back to the original
student. All 20 students have an opportunity to participate and must be
"attentive" in order to keep up with the game. This game is
appropriate for students at the third grade level. The link on the left
meets California
standards "Number Sense" 1.3, 1.4 and 2.1. The link on the right meets
California standards "Number Sense" 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5.
