Loop Around

Directions:
The following link is a math loop around game. To play the game, first print the
PDF file of the loop around game. Cut up the 4 pieces of each page and distribute to
the class (there are 40 cards so some students may have to double-up.) You can
start with any card and the game will still work. Have the first student read
his/her card. The student who has the card with the answer to the previous question
then reads his/her card. As each card contain an answer and a question, the
 game will eventually loop itself back to the first card.

Grade Level:
This game is intended for 5th Grade students. The calculations in the game involve
fractions, decimals, percentages, negative integers and addition, subtraction,
multiplication and division.

Standards:
The game addresses the following California 5th grade math standards:
-2.0 Students perform calculations and solve problems involving addition, subtraction,
 and simple multiplication and division of fractions and decimals
-2.1 Add with negative integers; subtract positive integers from negative integers
-2.2 Demonstrate proficiency with division, including division with positive decimals
