I am poem I am from a place named after the ground of sand, from a place far from where I stand. I am from a world my dad had to depart, from a place where my mom has her heart. I am from a home La Virgen de Guadalupe reigns supreme, from a home where respect for our parents was extreme. I am from a Zacetecano family tree, from its roots to its leaves high up for all to see. I am from pain, suffering, and sadness, from peace that keeps me from the madness. |
