Miss Adams' Homepage

My name is Amber Adams and am originally from the bay area town of Brentwood. As a child, Brentwood was a small farming town centralized around our token crop of sweet white corn. My fondest memories as child and adolescent took place in the classroom as a dedicated learner and on the stage as a competitive dancer and cheerleader. I am blessed to have wonderful family and friends with whom I am very close to.

After graduating high school I decided I needed to experience life outside of California. Attending Elon University in North Carolina for my undergraduate degree was a wonderful experience. Not only was Elon an incredible academic institution, I was also able to cheer on a Co-Ed D1 squad. My undergraduate degree from the School of the Communications at Elon focused on Corporate Public Relations and Media Convergence. After spending 4 and a half wonderful years on the East Coast, I knew I wanted to move back to California and pursue my desire to teach. I once read somewhere that you never know where home is until you leave, and after leaving so far from home, I truly believe in that statement.

RELATED LINKS	After working for one year in Silicon Valley for Cisco Systems, I knew I had to follow my heart and apply/enroll in a credential program. I have been lucky enough to study at UC Davis and work to obtain my Mutilple Subject Teaching Credetial and Masters of Arts in Education. My goal in education is to help shape any and all children aI have in my classroom. I cannot wait to see where the world of teaching will take me.
