						My Family
						I grew up in Royal Oak, Michigan, which is a suburb outside of Detroit.   My parents live in the same house I grew up in with my two older sisters.  I am now the proud Aunt of three and soon to be four!  I have been fortunate enough to return and spend time with my family once a year.   Although the transition away from my family has been rough, I am happy to have the experience of living in my new home state of California.  My husband and I are looking forward to the wonderful opportunities that await us.
						Education  I am attending the University of California, Davis location to acquire my Master's degree in Education with a multiple subjects credential.  For my undergraduate studies I attended Eastern Michigan University and have a bachelor's degree in written communications with a minor in women's studies.  My favorite subjects in school are reading and writing.  I loved math as a student in elementary school and high school, and enjoy creatively teaching math concepts to students.
						Hobbies
						I enjoy spending my free time outside golfing, camping, and picnicking.  I can also be found watching movies and reading on the weekends, or wrestling with a Suduko puzzle.
