About Me PageI am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I was born in 1977. I come from a large family. I have three older brothers, one older sister, and nine nieces and nephews which are a big part of my life. I moved 3000 miles to California to explore more out of life. I reside with my husband in California. I love the outdoors. My activities include cycling, hiking, and yoga, which I like to do on my free time. I love reading children's books, Don't Sweat The Small Stuff, Chicken Soup For The Soul, and magazines that include Backpacker, and Psychology Today. I have traveled to 16 National Parks and Forests and have hiked most of them. Some of my biggest accomplishments include hiking the Grand Canyon in one day, and climbing at Castle Rock and Manure Pile Buttress in Yosemite National Park. I did my undergraduate work at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. My undergrad degree is a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with two minors: Health Science and Psychology. I previously lived in Foster City, Ca. I am doing a Masters in Education with a Teaching Credential at UC Davis. I am currently student teaching second grade at Silveyville Elementary school. |
