Education is a Building Block for life
I was born in Woodland, California and raised in the Bay Area by my two loving parents. I have one sister who is five years younger than me, and also my best friend. I really enjoy reading, singing, and watching movies. My family and friends are very important to me and I spend as much time as possible with them.
From a young age I have had much experience in the classroom. I was able to help my mom set up her own classroom and I also volunteered in her classroom whenever I was not in school. I had more formal training when interning at various elementary schools during my undergraduate years as a University California, Davis student. I have worked in a third grade classroom at Bryte Elementary School in West Sacramento and I currently work in a first grade classroom at Tremont Elementary School in Dixon.
I have always enjoyed working with children have enjoyed my various babysitting jobs, camp counselor positions, and mentor positions for my church. I have always known that I wanted to work with children and I am so excited to have chosen to be a teacher, a mentor, and a friend to all my current and future students.
