Hi
my name is Laura Ward.
I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. In June of 2007,
I completed my Bachelor's of Arts in English with a minor in music at
University of
California, Davis. I chose to stay in Davis to complete the
combinded Masters of Arts in Education and Multiple Subject
Credential. I have loved working with children ever since I was
old enough to babysit. In high school I toutored children at a
low income elementary school next door to my school. In college I
interened at a local Davis Montessori elementary school. The
children that I have worked with have
led me to discover my passion for teaching. When I am not in the
classroom I enjoy performing in musical theatre. I took advantage
of the Davis study abroad program and studied Shakespeare in
London, England. After a small taste of Europe I could not help
myself
but to go back after graduation to see the Czech Republic, Italy,
and France.
