has lived in Northern California for the past 13 years • Received Bachelor of Arts in English, with a Minor in Film Studies, in 2005 from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California • Privately tutored elementary, middle, and high school students from 2003 to 2006 • Certified AVID tutor from 2004 to 2005 • Previously taught American Literature, Intro to Theatre, Advanced Drama, and English 9 at Vanden High School in Fairfield, California • Received Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential in English in 2008 from University of California, Davis in Davis, California • Currently working on her Master of Arts in Education at University of California, Davis in Davis, California • She is very, very, very excited about her first year of teaching at Douglass Middle School! • Favorite interests include: teaching, spending time with her husband, friends, and family, figure skating, skiing, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, reading, drawing, singing, piano, theatre, films, traveling, and taking spontaneous trips |
