Week 9 - Feb. 20
The goal for the night is to provide support on your use of the PACT template. The templates for each cohort are in the shared folded on the SOE server where your webpages reside. The PACT template is a webpage and can be edited with composer. The easiest way to fill-out the template is to use composer and type all short answers. For more involved answers, type your response in Word and then cut and paste the response into the template. The template needs to be opened in composer to do this. In reality you are creating a website just like you have before.
Two issues you need to be aware of: 1) You need to scan all student work to pdf files and then create your own links to this material. These pdf files need to be stored in the student work folder. 2) You have to put your videos in the video folder and also create a link to them.
Like you have with your instructional website, do all work in a PACT folder on your computer. When you are finished, burn the folder to a CD,

There is NO ASSIGNMNET due as you leave the class. Once you are comfortable with the PACT template the rest of the evening is yours to work on PACT. When you are ready to leave, leave. |
Remember next week you are to share yoru experince teaching with your non-linear PowerPoint. You also will be expected to "show" your "best" work. This work can not be your PowerPoint.
